A New Way of Learning

School in the Park

School in the Park is a multi-visit museum program that blends formal and informal learning with a Common Core focus by utilizing the rich resources of Balboa Park.

Students visit outdoor and indoor settings in variety of cultural institutions. Each curriculum is crafted to engage students in learning that has real world connections.

Families In The Park (FITP) is an opportunity for Rosa Parks and Wilson parents to visit SITP to learn about museum activities and available resources for their children.
