Staff Bio:

Corina Vergara - Facilitator

Corina Vergara was first introduced to the SITP program through her two children that attended Rosa Parks Elementary. She was a dedicated volunteer and helped run parent programs with the Parent Center. After volunteering in classrooms, building relationships with school staff and families, it was a great transition to become a facilitator for SITP. She has been part of the program for over 9 years. She is also involved with our Families in the Park program that helps build a bridge for families to connect with their students in their experience at the Park.

Her two children are now in college and one has returned to SITP as a college worker. Both of her children have chosen a career that sparked their interest while attending SITP.

Interests: Going to the gym, watching anime and cooking for her family.
